Enhancing Ocean Ridge Community with Custom Shade Installations

Ultimate Recreation’s Big Project at Ocean Ridge Community

At Ultimate Recreation, we’re passionate about creating functional and beautiful outdoor spaces. One of our largest community projects took place at the Ocean Ridge Community in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. This multi-phase project involved designing and installing custom shades across several key areas, enhancing both comfort and aesthetics.

Phase 1: Adding Shades to the Existing Pool Area

We began the project by tackling the existing pool area. While the location presented challenges in terms of access, our team’s commitment, teamwork, and use of the right equipment ensured the project’s success.

We installed three new shades around the pool, providing much-needed relief from the summer sun for residents and guests. These shades not only improved the pool area’s functionality but also added a fresh, modern look to the space.

Phase 2: Shades for the Brand-New Pool Area

The next phase of the project focused on the community’s brand-new pool area, which was being built in a wide-open space with little natural shade. To address this, we installed three grouped shades, creating one large shaded area. This addition was the perfect touch for the space, ensuring residents could enjoy the pool comfortably even during the hottest summer days.

Phase 3: Shade Installations at the Pickleball Courts

The final phase of the project brought shade to the community’s new pickleball courts. We installed two shades along the front area of the courts, giving players a place to cool off and relax between games. These shades not only enhance comfort but also create a welcoming atmosphere for players and spectators alike.
